TSgt Daniel Ramsden is a 9I Futures Airman at the 82nd Training Support Squadron, Sheppard AFB, Texas. In this capacity, he serves as a primary advisor to senior leadership on organizational innovation, bridging the gap between concept and implementation. He is responsible for identifying efficiencies, managing innovation funds, and navigating Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution to overcome modernization barriers. Additionally, TSgt Ramsden leverages learning engineering practices and instructional design to modernize the learning ecosystem for over 4,000 Airmen in training yearly. Technical Sergeant Ramsden entered the Air Force in December 2007 as an Avionics Test Station and Components apprentice. Following the completion of Electronic Principles at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in March 2008, he graduated from initial skills training at Sheppard AFB, Texas, in July 2008. He was subsequently assigned to Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, where he dedicated 12 years to the 28th Maintenance Squadron as a B-1B Lancer Avionics Back Shop Technician and Digital Analog Video production supervisor. In 2019, TSgt Ramsden transitioned to the 365th Training Squadron at Sheppard AFB as an Instructor Supervisor. In this role, he dedicated himself to the mentorship and evaluation of 25 Community College of the Air Force certified instructors and 650 Airmen in training. Following his successful tenure in leadership, he was detailed as a curriculum developer. Over a two-year period, he engineered a ground-up, completely student-centered curriculum. His efforts shifted the instructional paradigm toward active learning and competency-based outcomes, directly modernizing the technical proficiency of the next generation of Avionics technicians.
