TSgt Tylar A. Cravens is the Aerospace Propulsions Instructor at 373rd Training Squadron Detachment 15, Yokota AB, Japan. He is a member of a 10-personnel instructor core that teaches 38 distinctive courses, supporting maintenance training for the 374th Air Wing, 730th Air Mobility Squadron, 353rd Special Operations Wing, and other Pacific Air Force units. As the Propulsions instructor, he teaches C-130J Propulsions systems and Borescope courses. TSgt Cravens entered the Air Force in November 2016 and graduated Propulsion technical training in May 2017. He has served 9 years of Active Duty service and has been assigned to bases in Texas. He has held a variety of positions that include Assistant Flying Crew Chief and Maintenance Training Instructor. He was 1 of 6 DAF Spark Tank Finalists for 2026 and was a Virtual Reality manager for the 374th Maintenance Group. Prior to his current position, TSgt Cravens was a Maintenance Training Instructor for the 374th MXG, Yokota Air Base, Japan.
