S4 Superintendent, Delta 10
Master Sergeant Manzanares serves as the S4 Superintendent, Delta 10, Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. Sergeant Manzanares leads the effort to acquire suitable facilities for wargame operations across multiple locations. Additionally, he has been leading the effort to acquire model and simulation (M&S) solutions that support operational and strategic wargames in addition to field experimentation. Additionally, Master Sergeant Manzanares is a keystone player in developing Delta 10 as the premier unit for space-based wargaming.
Sergeant Manzanares entered the Air Force in January 2011. During his enlisted career, he has served in a variety of positions to include Combat Communications Operator, Air Operations Center Schoolhouse Instructor, Enterprise Systems Administrator, Directory Services Supervisor, and Cheyenne Mountain AFS Operations Chief. MSgt Manzanares also supported INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’s SENTINEL across two deployments, leading 15 joint cyber operators in support of Special Operations Forces.
Before assuming his current position, MSgt Manzanares served as the Operations Chief, 21st Communications Squadron, Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Colorado. He had oversight of over 220 personnel and 22 workcenters, delivering Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications capabilities to 9 Combatant Commands, Secretary of Defense, and President of the United States.
