Mr. Arthur Huber II, SES (INVITED)
Arthur F. “Art” Huber II, a member of the Senior Executive Service since 2020, is Executive Director, Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards Air Force Base, CA. He serves as principal civilian deputy for the AFTC on all matters under the cognizance of the Commander. He has extensive authority for broad management, policy development, decision-making, and effective program execution of the AFTC’s developmental test and evaluation mission. His role as the Executive Director involves long and short-range planning, policy development and implementation, the determination of program and center goals, resource planning and allocation, and the overall management of the AFTC enterprise. Prior to his current position, Mr. Huber served nine years as a civil servant with the Department of Air Force preceded by 30 years active duty where he attained the rank of Colonel. He has completed a variety of assignments specializing in air and space systems acquisition to include development, testing, procurement, sustainment, and tactics assessment. He held commands at the squadron, group, wing, and center levels and is a Flight Test Engineer graduate of the Air Force Test Pilot School. As non-rated officer aircrew he accrued over 500 flying hours in 25 different model aircraft.
