Dr. Stoddard is the Director of the Center for Army Analysis (CAA) where he is responsible for directing the Army’s primary study program to inform strategic and operational decisions for the Army’s senior leaders. As Director of AMSO, he is responsible for the Army’s M&S strategy, governance, and policy. He also serves as the Executive Agent for the Army’s Functional Area 57 (Modeling & Simulation officers) and Functional Advisor for Career Program 36 (Analysis, Modeling & Simulation). His current efforts are focused on the Army’s structure, capabilities, capacity, and readiness to execute the National Defense Strategy.
