Ms. Jennifer Winner

Ms. Jennifer Winner is a Senior Research Psychologist at the Air Force Research Laboratory where she conducts human effectiveness research for the 711th Human Performance Wing, Human Effectiveness Directorate, Warfighter Interactions and Readiness Division’s Operational Learning Sciences Branch. Ms. Winner’s research has focused on readiness evaluation, proficiency-based training, and simulator fidelity assessment. Her recent work centers on integration of team-level metrics into training infrastructure to enable robust learning analytics and inform future operations. Ms. Winner received an M.S. in Applied Psychology from Arizona State University, an M.B.A. from Wright State University, and a graduate certificate in healthcare modeling & simulation through the Naval Postgraduate School. Currently she is completing a Ph.D. in integrated systems engineering, with a specialization in cognitive systems engineering, at The Ohio State University. Her future research is targeting the application of resilience engineering methods for modernization of USAF training and the integration and evaluation of human-machine teams.
